Leads the planning, designing, purchasing, and implementation of changes to the manufacturing equipment and systems while leading and co-leading teams.
Leads the work for specific projects to create and implement all aspects of a manufacturing processes to ensure safety requirements, manufacturing goals, business goals, and product specifications are met.
Leads by applying the knowledge or use of manufacturing principles and practices to improve manufacturing equipment and processes.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.
This position will be a Manufacturing Engineering position within the Assembly portion of the SEP Manufacturing Engineering Team. Successful candidate will be expected to perform the above responsibilities within assigned areas and projects.
Must be willing to be hands on with new and seasoned machinery, including PLC's, DC, pneumatic, and manual torque tooling, as well as other automated and non-automated machinery. Must be willing to dynamically support projects on different lines and areas as needed. Some experience in powered DC torque tooling and PLC troubleshooting required.
Must be a self- starter, capable of identifying, prioritizing, and working projects on own initiative, as well as completing assigned tasks/projects. Support of manual processes and managing multifunction meetings and projects will be required.
Daily tasks include but are not limited to:
- Process review, modification, approval, and implementation.
- Function project support/lead for ER, PQP, RFT, BIS, HSE issue resolution
- Hands on machine issue troubleshooting, including PLC logic issues
- Coordination and implementation of new processes/equipment
- Lead for all new option change implementation for assigned equipment/area.
- Work closely with Skilled Trades during repair and troubleshooting activities.
- Work with suppliers to source, design, implement new equipment/machinery as appropriate.
- Support production assembly operations, collaboratively participate in design reviews, troubleshooting events, and work in cross functional teams to support plant initiatives, improvements, and goals.
Successful candidate responsibilities will include a direct report supervisory role of an hourly Advanced Manufacturing Associate (AMA), who would support same area and initiatives.
This is an onsite role. Successful candidate expected to typically be onsite and on plant floor daily/as needed throughout the day.
Salary range is $84,000 - $126,000. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after taking into account relevant factors, including Compensation and Benefits
