We are looking for a talented Maintenance Manager to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Power Generation Segment in our Seymour, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • A successful applicant will need to be an efficient and effective direct contributor as a Senior Maintenance Engineer as well as directly supervise hourly Maintenance staff within their assigned area. This role includes serving as the program owner for the Seymour Engine Plant LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) program, procedural compliance, conducting training, certification, and placarding. Must be capable and willing to work in cross functional teams with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Quality, Materials, & HSE departments. Other projects/tasks will be assigned as necessary.

  • Leads and executes the preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance of production equipment.

  • Works and leads teams in the maintenance organization. Coaches line employees on basic maintenance procedures.

  • Works with Facilities, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering on problem identification, trouble shooting, and equipment issue resolution and repair.

  • Maintains spare parts and indirect materials inventory by using a computerized maintenance management system.

  • Contributes to equipment engineering design evaluations.

  • Leads preventative maintenance processes to ensure equipment is available and capable.


To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • 7-8 years minimum Maintenance experience

  • Previous experience managing hourly staff members.

  • Strong communication skills both written and oral, be a self-starter, be capable and effective at leading and resolving immediate production equipment or process issues as well as identifying and working long term improvement projects.

  • Must have a desire to learn and grow in the role and must be willing to provide direct supervision as well as mentoring for less experienced direct reports.

  • Previous experience working with PLC's, DC Torque equipment, CNC machining centers, troubleshooting equipment/machine faults and failures.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
