This is an exciting opportunity in Rocky Mount, North Carolina for a Maintenance Manager. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading projects.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

  • Develop strategy for Plant Maintenance Program and set direction for maintenance leadership on execution.

  • Manages the planning and execution of the preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance of production equipment.

  • Manages Leaders in the maintenance organization.

  • Manages preventative maintenance processes to ensure equipment is available and capable.

  • Develops performance standards and formulates staff development plans for high reliability leadership organization.

  • Develop and manages plant level maintenance budgets.

  • Coaches and leads maintenance leadership.

  • Leads maintenance cultural change by words and actions.

  • Aligns and cascades organizational objectives and metrics.

Equipment/Capital Procurement - Selects manufacturing equipment which meets the Cummins manufacturing specifications and meets the project or program needs.

Experience

  • Minimum ten years of experience is a Plant Maintenance role with at least five years in a leadership role.

  • Solid experience with Machining equipment, automation manufacturing, high speed machining, controls engineering required.

  • Automotive manufacturing highly preferred.

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

Bachelor of Science (or equivalent degree) in Engineering or related discipline required. A graduate degree preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
