MEA Production Manager

Description

We are looking for a talented MEA Production Manager to join our team specializing in sales for our #NewPower Business Unit in Mississauga, Ontario.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Provides manufacturing leadership for small or medium size plant, shift or department. Manages multiple shifts of an assembly line, fabrication or machining operation.

  • Provides manufacturing leadership and improvement focus in operations driving results, creating and monitoring measures, providing motivation, and setting expectations in safety, quality, delivery and cost.

  • Communicates with customers, suppliers, shop floor, stakeholders, and staff.

  • Leads annual operating plan, forecasts, and other measurements for manufacturing operations.

  • Manages, coaches, and develops staff; works with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Significant level of relevant work experience, including managerial, leadership, and budgetary experience, required.

  • Mechanically inclined with problem solvingskills

  • Experiences in Equipment Maintenance TPM(scheduling PM and AM, spare parts etc)

  • Develop and maintain operational KPI’s(productivity, quality, waste reduction, safety, downtime)

  • Oversee materials and inventory management

  • Experience with ERP and MES systems preferred

  • Roll to Roll Converting, Lamination or Coatingexperience is added advantage

  • Background in high volume manufacturing process

  • Establish tools, rules and process for linemanagers and operators for high quality manufacturing

  • Experience in polymer material handling will beadded advantage
