Conversion - Assembly Technician

Description

We are looking for a talented Assembly Technician to join our team at our Mississauga Plant.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with direct guidance.

• Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.

• Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.

• Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet production goals.

• Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Minimal or no work experience required.

• Reclaiming E1500 Plates on chemical tank station

• Operating LWB Molding Press; problem solving when parts are defective

• De-flashing plates molded

• Inspection of plates produced to ensure quality standard is met

• Entering data in excel sheets; keeping daily production report up to date during shift

• Performing mold changes

• Setting up and operating dry ice machine

• Operating mold release spray gun

• Operating vulcanization oven

Compensation and Benefits
