We are looking for a talented CTP Operations Manager - 2nd Shift , join our Cummins Turbo Technologies team in Ladson, South Carolina, U.S.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Provides manufacturing leadership for 2nd shift Plant Operations. This encompasses assembly, machining, and cold test teams. Leads a team of shift process managers including developing, implementing, and overseeing their workplans. Manager will also ensure weekly shift scorecard is updated and projects are in place to improve any metric not meeting plan, along with assuring the staffing levels maintain the prescribed levels.

  • Leads annual operating plan, forecasts, and other measurements for manufacturing operations. Manages, coaches, and develops staff; works with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning.

  • Analysis, Lean / COS Tools, Multi-tasking; Results Driven; Quality/Improvement: 5Sand Six Sigma; Workflow Analysis; Root Cause Analysis: 5 Why, FMEA, FTA, Observation; Teamwork: Team Building, Adaptability; Interpersonal; Active Listening; Active Learning; Leadership: Judgment/ Decision Making; Planning & Organization; Communication Verbal and Written; Conflict Management; Goal Setting.

  • Communicates with customers, suppliers, shop floor, stakeholders, and staff.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.

Skills

  • Continuous Process Improvement - Recognizes areas in which a process can be improved by properly implementing process improvement and waste reduction methodologies to reduce process cost and improve quality in current manufacturing processes.

  • Health and Safety Fundamentals - Champions and models proactive health and safety behaviors by identifying, reporting and participating in actions to improve health and safety in order to build an interdependent culture and contribute to an injury-free workplace.

  • Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

Education :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or relevant work experience.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
