We are looking for a talented Operations Team Manager to join our team specializing in ManufacturingFunction for our Corporate Organization in Janesville, WI.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :
Supervise the daily activities of a production unit or teams.
Responsible for the daily activities of a production team including managing team members, housekeeping, and meeting production targets.
Work cross functionally to recommend and engage in improving safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
Serve as group lead on projects and work assignments.
Provide guidance and feedback for team members in accomplishing tasks and goals; sets expectations and clarifies responsibilities
Coach and mentors team members.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Over Time Required.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Daily travel to Mineral Point WI. during training required. Up to 3 month training period. Transportation during training provided.
Responsibility for the first shift and second shift laser departments, managing the day-to-day activities of the first shift team and responsibility for the second shift
Participate in daily meeting with operations managers; take direction to the teams; provide feedback from leads to Ops managers.
E-time approval; Conduct annual reviews and discipline of hourly employees.
Ensure teams are cross-trained; Lead and develop Team Leads and team members.
Gives input into overtime requirements to Ops Manager.
Additional support to the team leads to help with improvement projects on each line; Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Engineering
College, university, or equivalent degree preferred.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
