Description

Leads the planning, designing, purchasing, and implementation of changes to the manufacturing equipment and systems while leading and co-leading teams.

Leads the work for specific projects to create and implement all aspects of a manufacturing processes to ensure safety requirements, manufacturing goals, business goals, and product specifications are met.

Leads by applying the knowledge or use of manufacturing principles and practices to improve manufacturing equipment and processes.

Impacts the work by utilizing continuous improvement tools, following the Cummins standards, and leading the development of manufacturing standards and working methods.

Leads the communications with and influences key external stakeholders, business leaders, and functional members.

Works with internal and external resources on specific project assignments.

Leads the advanced knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices as they are applied to Cummins.

Maintains relationships and coaches key stakeholders.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent degree required.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.

Lead multiple VPI/VPC manufacturing functional teams. Hands-on experience on VPI process and VPI Manufacturing Task. Ability to provide direction on Technical decision making.

Leads the work for specific projects to create and implement all aspectsof a manufacturing processes to ensure safety requirements, manufacturing goals,business goals, and product specifications are met.

Track and Monitor Site Goal tree Projects and facilitate regular reviewsas PLT

Leads by applying the knowledge or use of manufacturing principles andpractices to improve manufacturing equipment and processes.

Knowledge of Assembly tools, Conveyors, Fastening tools, Jigs, fixture,and Lift assist.

Capital Management: Hands-on experience on Capital cashflow management.Forecasting, tracking with Stakeholders to meet the cashflow commitment.

Knowledge of IATF, OSHAS audits requirement. Auditor certification isreferrable.

Impacts the work by utilizing continuous improvement tools, followingthe Cummins standards, and leading the development of manufacturing standardsand working methods.

Works with internal and external resources on specific projectassignments

Minimum 810 years’ experience in Manufacturing
