Engine Disassembly Operator
Disassemble engines to a documented process. Ensure quality of work is up to acceptable standard. Able to meet stated cycle time and safety requirements. Must have 2 years verifiable diesel engine experience.
Available to work overtime and shift work if necessary.
Candidate must follow and obey all Cummins safety procedures.
Candidate must be able to follow written task instruction sheets.
The candidate is responsible to maintain a clean work environment.
The operator can be instructed to perform duties other than disassembling engines as they pertain to the work demand.
Candidate must wear uniforms and maintain the standard set with regards to appearance and PPE safety.
Candidate mt be able to read and write English.
High School Diploma/GED or relevant experience to the position.
Operator must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Basic Computer knowledge.
1-2 years experience desired.
Mechanical/shop experience mandatory.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds routinely.
Capable of driving a fork lift safely. If not then must be willing and able to learn.
Capable of tearing down engines without damaging parts and generating a detailed parts list utilizing QSOL and experience.
Must be able to correctly identify damaged parts.
Must be a team player.
Must own the appropriate tools required per QSOL to disassemble the assigned engines safely.
Able and willing to follow verbal directives from supervisors and senior operators.
