This is an exciting opportunity in Columbus, IN for an IT Leader Manufacturing. Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading engineering projects such as New Product Development, Value Package Introduction and Systems Product Validation.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

  • Manages a group of intermediate level IT employees

  • Participate as a key member of an IT Management Team.

Responsible for financial management including AOP, budget management, and forecasting.

  • Responsible for People Management including work plan development, performance management, and people development.

  • Responsible for team building and development including organization structure, recruiting, global team management.

  • Compile and present Management Reports on team performance including metrics, deliverable status, etc. Communicate status to senior management.

  • Accountable for Six Sigma training, usage and goal attainment for the team.

  • Ensure team adherence to all IT processes, policies, and procedures including IT Security.

  • Responsible of IT Controls compliance for the team

  • Engagement with customers in their respective function or business area.

  • Governance/Leadership for all program/projects executed or supported by their teams.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

University, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business or a related subject required.

Experience

Significant level of relevant work experience, including supervisory experience (7 plus), required. Broad business knowledge required.

  • Delivering and managing the lifecycle of Global IT solutions in the Manufacturing function.

  • Developing a program roadmap of project and capability delivery to meet the business objectives and delivering IT solutions through efficient project execution.

  • Leading application modernization and application consolidation as required.

  • Improving the performance, reliability and security of the Manufacturing function’s application portfolio.

  • Coaching and developing Manufacturing IT professionals, ensuring the team has a good understanding of business objectives / process needs, as well as current and future enabling technologies.

  • Close collaboration and strategic partnership with Corporate, Regional and Local Manufacturing teams and stakeholders, as well as other Supply Chain teams.

  • Close collaboration and coordination with IT groups that enable the delivery of or are impacted by Manufacturing solutions (E.g. BU IT, IT Architecture, Common Services, CBS IT, etc.).

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
