We are looking for a talented Industrial HVAC Support Technician to join our team for our location in Columbus, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Maintains safe work habits and actions in all aspects of the daily task; evaluates reactive work for safety issues, plans projects so that safety is key, and reviews preventative work for any unforeseen items that may present safety hurdles.

  • Maintains, installs, and operates all equipment and systems related to all building energy systems including boilers, chillers, compressors, cooling towers, and building creature comfort.

  • Utilizes software to track, assign, and prioritize reactive, planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance work and building management systems.

  • Reads and interprets mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic sketches, drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

  • Repairs or replaces defective equipment, components, or wiring; reassembles and tests equipment following repairs.

  • Discusses heating/cooling system malfunctions with users to isolate problems or to verify that malfunctions have been corrected.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

  • Associate’s degree with two-four years of relevant experience or Trade certificate with six years of relevant experience or Eight years of relevant experience

  • Support plant equipment as needed to promote production

  • Support test cell work as needed to complement Tech Center data collection

  • Work throughout the plant as required to complete facility support opportunities

  • Work shutdowns to ensure facility equipment is working and uptime is at a maximum

  • Be willing to work overtime as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
