We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team specializing in Manufacturing in our Bloomfield, CT office.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Supervises the daily activities of a production unit or teams.
Responsible for the daily activities of a production team including managing team members, housekeeping, and meeting production targets.
Works cross functionally to recommend and engage in improving safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
Serves as group lead on projects and work assignments.
Provides guidance and feedback for team members in accomplishing tasks and goals; sets expectations and clarifies responsibilities.
Coaches and mentors team members.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree preferred AND/OR a combination of leadership/supervisory experience with a technical background of 3-5 years required
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
Supervisory experience preferred
Union Experience preferred
We are a fast-paced environment, this position is responsible for 25 people and third of the shop. Being able to work independently, think through situations and respond logically, being able to work well with people and being resourceful is a must
Looking for a person with 0-5 years of Manufacturing and or supervisory experience
Union experience and or Lean Manufacturing experience a plus
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
