Description
Work Manually in ATPU (Assembly,test,paint line,upfit) for assembly,test & dispatch of engines.
Work with hands for assembly of engine parts at various sections in ATPU
Knowledge about working of engines
Producing quality output during assembly/test/upfit of engines
Self inspection of parts, refer BOM for parts fitment
Support various initiatives like HSE / Kaizen / Six sigma / Cost reduction / Productivity improvement etc.
Contributes by applying the knowledge or use of manufacturing principles & practices to improve manufacturing equipment & processes.
Assist with the developments of manufacturing standards & working methods by using continuous improvement tools.
Works with internal & external resources on specific project assignments.
Learns the knowledge of manufacturing principles & practices as they are applied to Cummins.
Ensure HSE,Quality guidelines are followed
Ensure proper 5S at workplace
Qualifications
Education , Licenses , Certifications
Preferably should be Engineering Diploma ( Mechanical / Production )
Computer proficiency in Microsoft word , Excel , Power point
Good communication & Interpersonal skills.
